To celebrate 20 years of the European Association for Sport Management, a special football match will take place on Wednesday 19th September in Aalborg, Denmark. The EASM All Stars captained by the President of EASM (Mike Urdangarin) will compete against the EASM Denmark Team captained by Per Justesen (Chair of the 20th EASM Conference).

Experience Play the Game at EASM 2012
Prominent keynote speakers from the international world of sport and a long line of special Play the Game symposia will give spectators a taste of Play the Game as an integral part of EASM 2012 in Aalborg, Denmark, on 18-21 September.
A number of the themes that are typically addressed by Play the Game’s international network will enjoy a special focus at the sport management conference EASM 2012 in a separate line of Play the Game symposia.
As co-organisers of EASM 2012, Play the Game and the Danish Institute for Sports Studies have put together a special programme with a series of symposia focusing on the greatest challenges for world sports, along with a long line of distinguished keynote speakers from the world of international sport.

FIFA’s top reformers discuss their key proposals at EASM 2012 conference
The former president of the German Football Association, Theo Zwanziger, and head of FIFA’s Independent Governance Committee, Mark Pieth, are among the keynote speakers at the EASM conference in Aalborg, Denmark, taking place on 18-21 September.
For the first time, FIFA’s top reformers will together meet a broad international audience in an open debate about the on-going reform processes of the scandal-ridden organisation. The FIFA reforms are meant to improve the organisation’s governance and to repair the image of football’s world governing body after widespread corruption scandals in recent years.

In a series of parallel sessions, Play the Game will take a direct approach to sensitive political topics in sport.
Will the reform processes started by FIFA against its own corruption and by the IOC against match fixing ever be efficient?
This is one of the hot sports political questions to be addressed when Play the Game gathers a number of distinguished experts and practitioners for a series of six symposia during the EASM 2012-conference in Aalborg, Denmark on 18th-21st September.
